Step-by-Step Guide on How to Start Selling with Bingwa Sokoni
Follow these simple instructions to register and set up your business account correctly.
Start Registration on your Phone
Put your Till Number SIM card into the phone and dial *180#.
Choose your Shop Type
On the menu that pops up, select "Bingwa Sokoni", then choose either "Mpesa Agent" or "Merchant" depending on your business. Enter your Till number and follow the remaining steps.
Add the SIM Card as an Ambassador
Now go to your main Safaricom number and add that Till SIM card as a Bingwa Ambassador. The system will ask you for your Till number and your ID number.
Complete the Connection
Go back to the Till menu, enter the phone number of your buying SIM card, and add your board number as a bingwa. Note that you will be using this phone number SIM card to buy products.
